CEIP Andrés Manjón: healthy snacks. CEIP Manjón CEIP Andrés Zaragoza is center one-way located in the Barrio de Delicias. Formed by a mostly immigrant population and thus possessed of a rich multicultural. During the 2002/03 school year won the National Award of Educational Compensation.
Since this school year is part of the RAEPS, although many courses had already been carrying out activities of living and health promotion. Our slogan is: "Healthy habits help us feel better physically and emotionally"

On Thursday, April 14, 2011, the students of 1st and 2nd primary, along with teachers of their cycle and the collaboration of five mothers participated in the making and tasting of healthy snack . The mothers made the purchase in advance: bread, turkey slices, cheese steaks, butter, apples, bananas, strawberries, kiwis, pineapples, pears, vases, plates, napkins and skewers chopsticks. The 42 pupils at 15.30 h groups were going through the bathroom for washing hands, then fell into the dining room and making two rows were picking up their plates, cups and napkins. Once in the tables are divided los ingredientes necesarios para que ellos mismos elaboraran su sanwich de pavo y queso, poniendo un poco de mantequilla en el pan para que al pasar por la sanwichera estuviera más crujiente. Las madres habían pelado y cortado todas las frutas y los niños elaboraron cada uno una brocheta poniendo en un palito los distintos trozos de fruta. Una vez que todos tenian su sanwich y su brocheta se paso a realizar una merienda saludable y de convivencia. Para beber solo agua, nada de refrescos ni zumos azucarados. Alguno de los alumnos decía: “es el mejor día de mi vida”, “está todo buenísimo”…. Los niño/as les dedicaron a round of applause to the mothers, thanked them for what they were taught and in an orderly and quiet (although it had a great time) were depositing waste into different bags for recycling and then to class and home after a social evening and healthy!

Another activity that took place on Tuesday 8 March 20011 was Carnival Parade along Calle Delicias and the theme was " Supply. " This is one of the most appreciated by parents of school for street environment and the complete mix of cultures, colors and participation.
