CEIP "La Laguna" At last we are mediators! CP

The school is located in Sariñena, a town in the province of Huesca is located in the Monegros. The school has about 350 students and 29 teachers.

The slogan of our center as a health promoting school is: Peace Territory .

Llevamos unos 10 años trabajando el tema de la mediación escolar entre iguales. Para poder hacer tareas de mediación es necesario planificar actividades de formación para los niños y niñas de 5º y de 6º de primaria, ya que es en esos grupos entre los que se elige a los mediadores.

Las actividades de formación se desarrollan en el aula. En 5º tienen como objetivo el desarrollo de capacidades que apoyen la inclusión o integración y en 6º están en relación con los contenidos de Educación para la Ciudadanía. Esta training is structured in three sessions in which all students learn about mediation, conflict resolution, and other things that can help us in our relations with our friends.
