http://www.flickr.com/photos/briansolis/2735401175/sizes/l/ In recent days we were discussing the benefits of Web 2.0 as a philosophy that provides more functionality to the user to share information. It's frightening the amount of applications and tools that currently exist for sharing information and data fill the user may never go to read, or worse, that serve to dis-inform. (See picture)
While Web 2.0 reflects the behavior patterns of social networks, to create dynamic content, accelerates the production of information and provides functionality for generating content of interest to groups of practice, I come the following questions:
- How to manage the quality of content that is published?
Among the projects that have been made in knowledge management (particularly my study group), we managed to assemble tools to identify relationships and sources associated with topics of articles, sources and authors, curiously, the network is generates a very targeted group of information is often contradictory in their argument, or at the bottom being different theses have a common origin. (No particular enough?)
- How and what criteria we filter the information we found on the WWW. Apparently there are already companies that are dedicated to particular filter information on blogs, Web pages, articles, etc. and found in such "trash computer" a form of subsistence. (As they said over there - Millet, the money is there, you just have to pick out)
excess
-paralysis of analysis? an evil that comes with too much information, and is so much detail is lost north of what you want to decide what information to use and to use it. - A very common within us mastercitos - A head rest in peace (as chief) always reminded us that the best was the enemy of good, so gentlemen, better use information management approach.
- Web 2.0 on us or we Infox? Well a big question, I think is an excellent tool for managing content, however the problem is not here "arrow" but "Indian" or filter that goes wrong information. Where is the criterion for choosing the human being and especially know how to choose right? is that a lie becomes reality with the poisoning? information on the 4th power?
- What risks are we running as a society? we want to be independent and to maintain privacy but we are exposed to the public environment (Facebook, myspace, google, etc), apparently because there are very few places where we can hide. (O well .. who work in security information we usually know where to find who is hiding, and no one escapes the eyes of the Web and there is nothing, not even private banks are very safe .. hehe believe)
Some say that "perception is reality "But how dangerous this can be perceived in a society where further objectivity and where the values \u200b\u200bneed to be taken up as the cornerstone of a culture.
infoxication This idea refers to the saturation of information (with the exponential growth in exposure to information, media and the so-called Internet Information society or Infoxication) which may even to generate anxiety in the user feel not able to find the information sought.
This entire phenomenon of multiplication of the amount of information that exists in the world has come to call the 'information explosion', although it should be called the 'explosion of misinformation', indigestible and confounders.
While we are in an information society, it pays to be careful of the sources used to analyze the information professional and responsible approach and be careful about the quantity and quality of data to make decisions ( And we publish on the Web).
is not that we are infoxicando.
And you .. infoxicado is how?
